About St. Michael’s School
Our History
Construction of St. Michael's School began in 1954. Classes began in the fall of 1955 with first - eighth grades. In the spring of 1956, St. Michael's held its first eighth grade graduation. In the fall of 1980, Kindergarten was added and in 1990 the preschool program began. During the summer of 2002, a new heating and air conditioning system was installed. Also in 2002, a modular building was placed behind the main building. At this time, Band was added to the curriculum and classes were held in the modular building.
During the summer of 2014, the modular was replaced with a new building containing three large classrooms and a full basement. 4th and 5th grade classrooms and Band are housed in the "Angel's Wing" building.
We are grateful to the community for all the support and dedication ensuring that a Catholic education will be available for many years to come.
